Like many of us, we need 25 hours, 8 days a week to get everything done. Celebrating and taking time to pause and reflect hasn't really occurred.
We are changing this!
It started with Thailand, then with our mini Santander celebration and now birthdays. Alice's birthday!! 22 here we come....(the official soundtrack for the day)
We started the day with a not so boring, and in fact very lively bank meeting. Even got birthday drinks and freebies on the house in celebration!
Meeting done. Cake time.
We ventured around Borough market devouring a couple of rather naughty brownies from Konditor and Cook.
The ran came down on us so we took shelter under Neal's Yard's umbrellas.
After a quick phone meeting with our mentor, and brief birthday chitter chatter, we went to Bea's of Bloomsbury to devour these bad boys..
Cake quickly got the better of us and we slipped into a cake coma....
A few hours later we climbed up the beautiful Shard....
...to be joined by Elly...
...and Adelice...
We definitely got quite merry courtesy of their amazing bar, wine prices and barman..... (a glass of wine for £4.50!)
Midnight came and (via some late night chicken nuggets) we raced to make our last tubes home. An amazing and wonderful day.
