London Fashion Week

London Fashion Week is here!!

We spent our three years at university based next door to one of LFW's most beautiful venues, Somerset House. We watched as fashionistas descended around our campus and always longed to attend LFW.

But this weekend we finally took part and attended not one, but two catwalk shows!!

Show 1: London Ethnic

First up was London Ethinic, which was hosted at the lovely Kensington Roof Gardens venue.

Before the catwalk there was time to network with up and coming London based fashion brands. Our favourite was Panezai with their printed silk scarves. Check these out...

Goody bagged up and filled up on one, two, three (or four!!) too many Krispy Kreme's we settled in to watch the show.

Afterwards we explored the glorious gardens

Even found some deck chairs....in London....why not....?

We spent the after-party networking, meeting some lovely people, making new contacts with designers, bloggers, stylists and fashion buyers opening some new doors up for Attollo.

Show 2: Bohemian Fashion

This show took place at a rather alternative venue, The Ponetefract Castle pub besides Bond Street tube station.

We fell in love with this company's ethos: all women are beautiful, all shapes, sizes and ethnicities should be celebrated.

The models reflected this ethos and it was a treat to see how the designs flattered all body shapes.

We took particular attention to the designs which looked amazing with big boobs! Jumpsuits and playsuits galore as well as some awesome two-pieces gave us new ideas for our autumn wardrobes.

All in all, we had a fabulous weekend. Thank you London Fashion Week.

  1. Great pics! There were flamingos at Kensington Roof Gardens when I was last there - did you spot any?
